Guillermo Flores
Managing Attorney
Guillermo Flores is a trial attorney with a solid background in both civil law and criminal law. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Prior to establishing Legionnaire Law Firm, PLLC, he worked at highly respected civil law firms in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and in San Antonio, Texas. Guillermo has experience litigating complex cases involving commercial litigation, personal injury, property damages, and landlord-tenant disputes. Guillermo approaches every case with meticulous preparation and the mindset that it will proceed to trial, ensuring that each client receives the highest level of advocacy and strategic readiness. He has substantial trial experience obtained by trying numerous cases before juries and judges.
As a civil lawyer, he has represented companies and persons and has diligently handled lawsuits in both state and federal courts. Some of these lawsuits involved breach of contract, Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), conversion, negligence, wrongful death, survival actions, premises liability, and eviction proceedings (forcible detainer). Additionally, he has successfully prepared and argued dispositive motions which have resulted in favorable outcomes for his clients. He firmly believes in the importance of conducting high level legal research as part of the legal strategy and favorable outcome of cases.
In addition to his work as a civil litigation attorney, Guillermo has also successfully defended numerous clients in criminal proceedings in Texas. Some of these cases have resulted in dismissals, rejections to prosecution, or favorable reductions or dispositions upon thoroughly reviewing the evidence, the applicable law and defenses, and strategic negotiation with the prosecution. Prior to becoming a criminal defense attorney, Guillermo was a prosecutor with the Bexar County District Attorney's office for several years. He was in the misdemeanor and felony Criminal Trial divisions and in the Juvenile division. He handled thousands of cases, including misdemeanors and felonies.
Guillermo believes in taking a compassionate approach towards his clients while he diligently and aggressively fights for them in court. He provides high quality and personalized legal services to his clients.
